Welcome to The Jazz Lounge. I do like to keep things interesting, and this time around is no different. My guest for this session is a very special lady. Linda Purl is a class act, who has contributed some very fine work as an actress, which many of us are very familiar with. If for some reason you can’t place the name, as soon as you see her face on the screen, you make the connection.

This dynamic drummer, producer, and longtime member of the fusion supergroup ‘Return To Forever’ has an all-star lineup that includes: Fellow Miles Davis alumnus Foley on lead bass, with former Weather Reporter Victor Bailey on low-end bass; former Herbie Hancok Headhunters saxophonist Bennie Maupin; late trumpeter-vocalist Mark Ledford; pianist Patrice Rushen; and Lenny’s former Twenty-Nine band mate Donald Blackman on synth.
